Šimunić: We were close and almost got a good result

Despite Porto took three points to Portugal, Dinamo played a good game at the opening of the UEFA Champions league.

Dinamo's playmaker Sammir was very realistic after the game: - There isn't much to talk about - they are a better team and they deserved to win. We gave our best, tried with counter attacks and had some chances to score but it wasn't enough.

Defender Josip Šimunić had a great game but it wasn't enough: - My display is not important; the team and the result is what matters. Like we all knew before the game, Porto is a better team than us and they proved it today despite we were close and almost got a good result. That little thing is what makes the difference from the big and not so big teams.
