Dinamo played another excellent preseason match in Austria but still had to settle for a draw. Spartak Moscow took the lead in the 36th minute when Kozlov scored and Ibanez got the equaliser after 67 minute of play.
Wealthy Russian side was another real test for Modri in preseason in Austria and Dinamo certainly lived up to the task. Dinamo played a very good first 45 minutes and an excellent second half to prove that things are going as scheduled in Austria.
Dinamo threatened in the beginning when Pokrivač striked a fierce shot but Rebrov made first of his many saves of the day. Croatian champions were a better side for the first 25 minutes, had couple of chances and then in was Spartak's time to dominate. Russian side created couple of opportunities before Kozlov got Spartak in front. Kirill Kombarov made a nice run on the right side and made a cross to the middle where Puljić didn't react well so the ball came to Kozlov who nicely placed it in the upper corner of the net.
After getting behind, Dinamo once again took over control of the game and Badelj nearly got Modri back in the game. Our captain won the ball in the centre of the pitch, made a run and passed three Spartak players before passing the ball to Beqiraj but his header ended beside the post.
That was it for the first 45 minutes but Dinamo played even better in the second and it was only a matter of time when will Modri score. Badelj, Kovačić and Sammir were simply unstoppable and the attacking trio were at the beginning of every Dinamo chance. First chance of the half was an excellent one when Sammir found Čop whose shot ended in the post.
Dinamo didn't stop and many threats came through the left side where Pivarić and Ibanez were very active. Eventually, goal came from that side too. After 67 minutes Kovačić made an excellent run through the middle, found Ibanez on the left side and his fierce shot ended in the bottom first corner; fully deserved equaliser.
Modri tried to get the victory and if there was just a little luck they would get it but - Spartak managed to defend till the end. Ibanez, Čop, Kovačić and Badelj tried to score for the lead but Rebrov was concentrated and earned Spartak "a point".
Despite the draw, Dinamo played another excellent preseason match against a strong opponent and showed that they are nearly ready for the official start of the season.
