Dinamo played a brilliant team game, outplayed Rijeka in every way and got the well deserved 3:0 win! Soudani twice and Sigali scored the goals and the fact that Rijeka made their first attempt of target in the 89th minute pretty much says it all.

From the start of the game it was obvious that Dinamo is the only team playing for the win while Rijeka was more than happy with the draw; of course, the one with no goals. With nine players behind the ball and Tomasov waiting for counter attacks it was hard to move the "bus parked" on 20 metres from Vargić.

Dinamo dominated, played their own game and despite having some chances there were no goals in the first half. At halftime Machado and Ćorić entered the game and a bit later Pjaca too so Dinamo pushed even harder and – it certainly paid off. First goal from Soudani was disallowed beucause the referee raised his flag but in the 64th minute there was no stopping Soudani.

Captain Antolić made a fabulous run and an even better pass to Soudani who scored for the lead. Modri continued to push forward, made plenty of chances before Sigali scored the header seven minute from time. Of course, this meant game over for Rijeka but our fans demanded more so Dinamo didn't slow down; not even a bit. In additional time Modri made pressing all over the pitch, won the ball deep in Rijeka's half of the pitch and Soudani scored his second to round up an excellent game!

With this win Modri extended the lead against Rijeka to 5 points but maybe even more important is the way Modri won this game. On the pitch Modri proved to be far more better than our rivals from Rijeka than the league table shows.

Copied!
