Dinamo successfully passed through Opatija and thanks to two goals from Andrej Kramarić and one from Ivan Krstanović secured a friendly match victory.
Dinamo decided to use international fixture break for two friendly matches; first one was played in Opatija. The occasion was NK Opatija's celebration for 100 years of existence; the club is only a couple of months younger than Dinamo. Off course, Dinamo came to Opatija without players who are on international duty so coach Krunoslav Jurčić used this opportunity to give a chance to the players that didn't play so much this season and added few youth team players to the squad.
Modri entered the game with full concentration and the result were two goals in less than 20 minutes. Dinamo took the lead after 14 minutes when todays captain Tomečak found Krstanović who finished a nice move with a goal. Three minutes later - 2:0 for Dinamo. Palić cross came to Tomečak who made another assist; this time the scorer was Kramarić.
Dinamo continued to dominate even after the two goal lead while the hosts were waiting for their chance. One came very sudden after a mistake from Lončarić but the keeper made up and saved Radomir's attempt. Domination turned into a great chance in 37th minute but Jakopović saved a shot from Krstanović from 10 metres.
What Krstanović failed to do couple of minutes before half time - Kramarić did after the break. Morales earned a free kick and elusively found Kramarić who easily made it 3:0 in the 48th minute. As usual in friendly matches, second half rhythm was disrupted by often substitutes. Among others, coach Jurčić gave a chance to youngsters Marotti, Karamatić and Špehar.
Even though Dinamo had couple of chances, it was Opatija who scored the last goal. Jakopović placed a great shot to the upper corner of the net and Lončarić was helpless. As a matter of fact, Špehar was the last scorer of the day but his goal was rightfully ruled out because of the assistant's flag.
Both of the teams got a big applause from the crowd and Dinamo returned to Zagreb. On Saturday the team will travel to Slavonski Brod for another friendly match.
