Tonel fined with 50,000 euros and suspended from the first team

GNK Dinamo board has decided to fine defender Tonel with 50,000 euros and suspend him from the first team due to unprofessional behaviour and statements to the press.

- Even though a month and a half ago we offered him to extend his contract that expires in December, after comments in the press regarding our coach Ante Čačić the Board has decided to fine Tonel with 50,000 euros and he is suspended from the first team - said Executive president Zdravko Mamić at the press conference.

- It's up to him will he train with our youth team until his contract expires or will we agree termination of the contract but he won't be offered a new one. We wish to thank Tonel for everything he has done for our club but our ways will part - concluded Mr. Mamić.
