UEFA opens the case against Dinamo

UEFA had decided to open a disciplinary case against GNK Dinamo because Matija Fintić played in the last seven minutes of the UEFA Youth league 1/8 final game against Anderlecht despite the fact he was suspended.

After Dinamo young players won against Anderlecht and qualified to the UEFA Youth league quarterfinal UEFA delegate discovered the mistake made by Dinamo administration. Anderlecht decided not to appeal because the better team won and that is the point of sport but despite that UEFA decided to open the case against Dinamo. The final decision will be made on Monday, 29 of February.

GNK Dinamo is ready to face financial or any other kind of ban but we are hoping and believe that UEFA will recognize true values and will allow brilliant youngsters who proved their value on the pitch to play in the quarterfinal.
