We deserved this victory

Head coach Zlatko Kranjčar held a press conference after the game with Split: - We were aware that this match won't be an easy task. Split played defensive game and it was hard to break them. On the other hand, they have showed a quality with their offensive play and maybe they could score if they have opened themselves earlier. Luckily we scored, we dominated from the first minute and this win is absolutely deserved.

- We decided to rest some players, but those who played against Split have shown a good performance. Young Šemper, Antolić, Machado, Ćorić... I am satisfied with their play. This was a good game and of course this is an additional motivation for the upcoming game against Salzburg - finished coach.
