We weren't rewarded for our effort and work

Head coach Zoran Mamić was satisfied with Dinamo's performance, but the same time he was disappointed and unhappy because of the undeserved final result. 

- I am not sure about my feelings at this moment. I am happy because of the quality play our team has shown tonight and I am feeling really bad because of the final result. I am mad also because referee's decisions were disastrous, their decision were ''damaging'' us. Olympiacos scored from an offside position and they've played with a hand in the penalty area twice. 

- It is hard to be in a good mood when you give your best and got defeated. This match was similiar to the ones against Astra in Romania and against Aalborg at Maksimir. Of course, this is the Champions league group stage, but I am feeling similar tonight. We need to look forward to our upcoming games and we won't let this defeat discourage us - explained the coach.

Mamić commented his decision about Marko Pjaca who entered the game as a substitute in the second half: - Pjaca isn't prepared for a tough schedule and the large number of our games and national team games. He wasn't in his top form lately and I wanted him to pull out his teammates when rhythm slows down a little bit. That is the reason he entered in the second half.

Of course, he said something about Dinamo fans and the atmosphere at Maksimir stadium: - The atmosphere was really great. Fans were with us from the first minute, they encouraged players with the applause on the half-time and reward them in the same way after the final whistle. Even though we didn't win, I think players thanked them with a great performance and I hope they will continue to be our 12th player.
