Zadar scores an equalizer to deny Dinamo II win

Two teams, two tiers, two points for each of the two teams, two goals overall... That is the summary after the second clash between Zadar and Dinamo II during this season's Druga HNL campaign. In their 14th round tier on Stanovi Ground in Zadar both teams scored one goal each for the 1-1 draw. They also catched one point each at the beginning of the season after the goalless draw in Zagreb.

Dinamo II striker Badara Badji scored a magnificent goal in 24th minute throwing defender Jerbić and goalkeeper Gluić off the balance. He received the ball on the right side inside the box and remarkably struck it into the far top corner!

The hosts denied Dinamo II win with an equalizer 16 minutes from the end. Tokić grabbed the ball, passed it forward to Butić who launched it to the post and the ball deflected right to the net.

Both teams created some chances from the start. It was 4th minute when Zadar right back Bilaver crossed the ball, Šutić curved it with his thigh giving Dinamo II keeper Miškić hard time. But he managed to catch the ball. Dinamo II immediately ran the counterattack as Badji came face to face with the home keeper but Dinamo II striker missed the target.

Few minutes after Dinamo II took the lead Šutić had a great chance for an equalizer but Miškić magnificently deflected the ball.

Dinamo II are still fifth on the league table with 19 points. Next week they will host second placed Cibalia. The game is scheduled for Saturday, 2:00 PM.
