Željko Rumbak Passed Away

Dear member of our blue family, former goalkeeper coach at Dinamo, Željko Rumbak, passed away at the age of 57 after a long and difficult illness.

He had been in Dinamo's system since 2014 when he joined the staff of the newly formed B team of the blues, and with his cheerfulness, helpfulness, great knowledge, refined pedagogical approach, and immense emotion towards the club and colleagues, he became a favorite among players and fellow coaches.

He was born on August 21, 1969, in Krapina, started his goalkeeper career at Zagorec, and later played for clubs like Samobor, Inker, Varteks...

We will especially remember his reaction shortly after arriving at Maksimir. He received the Dinamo crest on his shirt and emphasized: "Do you see this crest? Nothing is too difficult for it. You need to give your all and enjoy every moment, because one day we won't be in the club..."
