Transfer of Josip Brekalo

Dinamo and Wolfsburg have agreed on terms for transfer of Josip Brekalo! Young Brekalo will join Wolfsburg team this summer.

- We did our best to keep Josip in Dinamo, but this was the only choice we had. We are really sorry because this young talented player decided to leave Dinamo because my opinion is that staying with us would be a better for his career and his development. Josip and his people who advise him made a decision and we tried to get a maximum in this situation - said head coach Zoran Mamić.

Josip came to Dinamo Youth Academy when he was only eight years old. He played for all categories in club's football school and he signed a professional contract when he was 16. 

Brekalo made his debut for the first team in December 2015 and he played 286 minutes in the Croatian championship and 110 minutes in the Croatian cup. Young player scored one goal in Dinamo jersey, in the Cup semi-final against Hajduk.
