Ahead of Saturday's derby match against Hajduk, Dinamo first team managed to beat Croatian lower division team in Round 1 of Croatian Cup. 

In Mravince, Dinamo won 1-0 against HNK Sloga, with Mario Budimir scoring the winning goal from the penalty spot in the 80th minute. 

Dinamo played in a 4-4-1-1 formation with Petković and Budimir as two forwards, captain Ademi returned to the squad after injury, while Nikola Moro was on the bench for the first time since March and ACL injury. 

Croatian Cup round of 16 is scheduled for October 31, when Dinamo plays in an away match against NK Zelina.
