Domagoj Vida signs for Dynamo Kyiv!

Defender Domagoj Vida left Croatian champions and signed a contract with Ukrainian giants – Dynamo Kyiv.

After a year and a half in Maksimir, Vida leaves for Ukraine. Excellent displays brought attention from several foreign clubs and Kyiv was the most persistent one to catch his signature so Domagoj will continue his career in Kyiv, the side against which he played his last game for Dinamo. Two Croatia national team and former Dinamo Zagreb players, Ognjen Vukojević and Niko Kranjčar, are already Kyiv players and are waiting for the third Croat to come.

Let us remember, Vida came to Dinamo from Leverkusen, Germany in summer 2011. and instantly earned his place in the team. He helped Dinamo qualify for the Champions league and to win both championship and the national Cup. In the next season, 2012./2013., Dinamo once again qualified for the group stage of the Champions league and Domagoj’s “super late” winner against Ludogorets Razgrad made it possible.
