Fran Topic back playing for Dinamo

Talented young forward Fran Topić, former member of the blue junior team, is returning to Dinamo. Topić has signed a multi-year contract and thus, after almost two years of absence, he is back at Maksimir. Last season, he played for Zrinjski from Mostar with whom he won the title of champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He was born on March 20, 2004 in Zagreb, took his first steps in football at the age of six in Sesvete, and joined Dinamo in February 2022. In the following season, 2022/'23, he was the top scorer of the junior HNL with 20 goals.

He has made 10 appearances for Dinamo's first team, making his debut in April 2022 in a league match at Kranjčevićeva where the blues, under the debut of then-new coach Igor Bišćan, defeated Lokomotiva 2-1.

He covers almost all offensive positions, from right wing, midfielder to forward, and is a member of the young Croatian national team.

He once scored goals in the group stage of the UEFA Youth League against Chelsea with a 4:2 victory and Salzburg with a 2:1 victory. In the match against Chelsea, for example, he assisted with a backheel for the 1:0 lead, and later scored a goal himself.
