Dinamo and Molde played 1:1 in the first game of the Champions league 3. qualifying round. Modri took the lead in the 18th minute when Angelo Henriquez scored but Molde responded immediately via Kamara who scored for the final 1:1. Molde now has the away goal advantage but Dinamo showed that they are a better team and have reason to believe in qualifying to the next round.
Modri started the game in 3-4-1-2 formation with Marko Pjaca behind two strikers and had a great chance after just 3 minutes when Soudani was in front of Horvath but missed the goal. Dinamo pushed more and more while Molde waited their chance from counters and after 18 minutes Modri took the deserved lead.
Sigali made a long pass to Pivarić on the left side and his cross came directly to Henriquez's head which Chilean striker placed in the net. Nice goal for the deserved lead but two minutes later – it was 1:1. Linnes was left a lot of room on the right side, he made a cross and Kamara scored the equaliser. This goal shocked Dinamo players and it took them 10-15 minutes to get back in the right rhythm. Modri could have and probably should have got the penalty in the 39th minute when Soudani was brought down in the box but referee didn't make a sound.
Modri entered the second half with the same team and it was Pivarić who had a nice attempt from the free kick but it ended beside the post. Dinamo was the dominant team, Henriquez also tried his shot after one hour of play but also it went on the wrong side of the post. Molde had one but good chance when Mostrom escaped defensive line and placed a shot over the goal.
In the last 20 minutes Dinamo played more offensive, Fernandes entered the pitch and Modri dominated but they've lacked concentration in finishing. So the game ended 1:1 which means Molde is travelling home with an advantage but Modri showed that they are a better team and will go to Norway for the win.
