Zdravko Mamić announced his resignation

Executive president Mr. Zdravko Mamić announced his resignation on Tuesday, February 9. From this day on Mr. Mamić will have an advisory role. 

- After all these years and all achievements I wanted to have a press conference to announce this. The reason for this decision is to enable the club going forward. My job from now on will be advising other directors, Executive and Supervisory board. I will help them in case the club needs me. 

- Dinamo wouldn't exist today if the club's president Mr. Mirko Barišić and I didn't save the club from financial troubles in 2000. In the last 15 years the club invested a lot of money in building a training camp, first team hotel, as well as in reconstructing Maksimir stadium. Dinamo made an income over 300 milion Euros in the last ten years and there are 265 people who are working in this club and getting paid regularly. The club is healthy and now I will concentrate my strength on this political harassment my family and I are going through.

His lawyers Jadranka Sloković and Čedo Prodanović explained many legal things in this process that don't have anything to do with the law: - There was a lot of problems with placing bail despite the fact the court said everything was ok. Many witnesses came to us saying they were harassed for hours from USKOK investigators and it's obvious that all of this is political. It all looks very much alike to the case against Ivo Sanader where media and USKOK made him guilty even before the trial started. Never the less, we are ready to "fight".
