It was an impressive final as the crowning moment of another brilliant edition of the Ramljak tournament. However, the crown this time, after two consecutive Dinamo titles, goes to Amsterdam. The Blues this Sunday on the main pitch of Maksimir Stadium, in the final match of another brilliant, now 23rd memorial junior international tournament Mladen Ramljak, defended the title won last season and the season before. However, the cup this time went to Ajax. In the final encounter, the "Lancers" ultimately prevailed 2-1.

The atmosphere was overshadowed by an injury to young Dinamo winger Patrik Horvat who, at the very start of the second half, near the corner flag in the northwestern part of the pitch, twisted his knee and remained lying on the ground with a painful grimace. He left the game on a stretcher...

The visitors threatened in the 12th minute, right-back Gerain van Loon fired the ball with his left foot past the far post. In the next action, Nafairon Landvreugd, later named the tournament's best player, ran from the left into the penalty area, played it into the middle for Hasan Ayyildiz, who found himself alone in front of goalkeeper Petar Nemet, but he made a brilliant save to prevent the goal.

Applause from the Maksimir stands erupted in the 19th minute when Dinamo's right winger Jeon Jin-Woo from South Korea rushed diagonally into the penalty area through three defenders, but at the last moment the ball ended up blocked.

Shortly after, the visitors took the lead. In the 24th minute, Van Loon surged down the right flank, reached the goal line, and delivered a sharp cross into the six-yard box where the ball deflected off Karlo Zirdum into the goal.

Dinamo's Bulgarian midfielder Kaloyan Bozhkov drew gasps from the Zagreb crowd with his dribbling on several occasions. In the 30th minute, he produced a moment of magic, with a skillful turn sending the ball through for Roko Ban, who aimed for the near corner, but goalkeeper Giovanni van der Wijst was ready.

Just two minutes later, Bozhkov intercepted the ball in his own half, ran half the length of the pitch, and shot from 17 meters, but once again the Dutch goalkeeper made the save.

Towards the end of the first half, there was danger again in front of Dinamo's goal. Tyrese Teuwsen played through Luca de Baat, goalkeeper Nemet saved the shot, Landvreugd pounced on the rebound and fired powerfully, but Fran Kramarić cleared off the goal line. Goalkeeper Nemet made another save in first-half stoppage time, stopping Teuwsen's powerful volley from about ten meters into his arms.

Bozhkov had a chance in the 50th minute when Luka Radić crossed from the right, the ball bounced off the ground, and the Maksimir midfielder headed it wide from close range.

Shortly after, Bozhkov repeated his magic from the first half, once again dribbling past three defenders in his run, but the ball ended up blocked.

The visitors extended their lead in the 66th minute when Kenny Kasanwirjo won the ball around the center circle, drove through the middle, reached the edge of the penalty area, and calmly slotted the ball into the goal.

Two minutes later, Maksimir captain Jona Benkotić fired powerfully, the goalkeeper saved, and Niko Željković pounced to score. But while players and fans were already celebrating the goal, the referee signaled offside...

Benkotić tried again in the next action, shooting from about ten meters from the left, but the ball flew just over the goal.

The Blues came close to scoring in the 78th minute when Marin Nekić played through Jeon, who skillfully dribbled into the penalty area, hit the block, and the rebound fell to Željković who fired just over the goal from 18 meters.

Dinamo finally found a way through in the dying moments. In the fourth of seven minutes of stoppage time, Bozhkov scored spectacularly from a free kick from 18 meters. However, that was also the final sequence of this brilliant and exciting tournament.
