Dani Rodriguez signs for Dinamo
Young talent
Talented Spanish winger, 20-year-old Dani Rodriguez, former Barcelona player, is Dinamo's new signing.
Rodriguez will strengthen the offensive department of the Maksimir team, primarily competing for the right wing position. He is distinguished by skillful dribbling and runs, exceptional pace, and powerful shots. He is left-footed, can play on both flanks, but most often covers the role on the right side. At Dinamo he will wear the number 17 shirt.
Born on August 9, 2005 in Astigarraga in the Basque Country, his full name is Daniel Rodriguez Crespo. He came through Barcelona's football academy, La Masia, joining at the age of 15 from Real Sociedad. At Barcelona he played for all age groups, spending the last three seasons playing for the reserve team, Barcelona Atletic. He also made his debut for Barcelona's first team, appearing in a league match away against Real Valladolid in May last year when Barça won 2-1.
He was a member of the youth and junior national teams. He played for Spain's U-17 team at the 2022 European Championship, and two years later became European champion with the U-19 team after defeating France 2-0 in the final.
Rodriguez was temporarily sidelined by injuries, but arrives at Dinamo ready for new challenges. At his new club he will reunite with former Barcelona teammate Sergio Dominguez.
Dear Dani, welcome to Dinamo, we wish you lots of luck and success with Dinamo! Bienvenido a Dinamo, Dani!
