Dinamo B played their first friendly match
Dinamo B – Tabor Sežana 0:2
Dinamo B footballers played their first match after a four-year break with a mixed squad. In the first friendly ahead of the season start, the young Dinamo team welcomed Slovenian second division side Tabor from Sežana. The match was played at the auxiliary Maksimir pitch, with the Slovenian side winning 2:0.
Coach Jerko Leko fielded a diverse squad featuring 22 players. Missing were Sven Šunta due to first team duties, Marko Zebić, Noa Mikić and Tomas Baković who are yet to join the squad following international duty, while the injured Lovre Kulušić, Nikolas Šimić, Leonardo Perković and Ayoub Abdallah Makhfaoui were also not in the squad.
The visitors took the lead in the 19th minute when former Dinamo youth player Mihael Briški, current Tabor captain, headed the ball across from a right-wing cross, where Anel Zulić was waiting at the far post to find the net. The second goal was scored by Josip Marinić who intercepted a pass in front of Dinamo's penalty area and doubled the lead.
The young Maksimir footballers created several promising moves and chances, but without a concrete finish. They came closest to scoring in the 41st minute when Krešimir Radoš headed the ball against the crossbar.
