Two goals and numerous chances marked Dinamo B's final test before the start of league matches in the First NL. Coach Jerko Leko's squad travelled to Siget where they defeated Hrvatski dragovoljac 2-0.

Dinamo pressed the opposition defence from the start, creating chances, but the ball would, at least in the first half hour, fly past the goal or be stopped by the inspired home goalkeeper Roko Buljan. In the 10th minute Lovre Kulušić and Gabrijel Šivalec combined before Jona Benkotić picked up the ball in front of goal, but Buljan prevented the goal.

Just three minutes later Šivalec ran down the right flank, crossed into the middle, and Kulušić headed the ball against the post.

Benkotić played a through ball to the left in the 17th minute where Kulušić was positioned and fired powerfully, but the home goalkeeper made the save. The lively Kulušić had another chance in the 29th minute, winning the ball on the right wing and breaking clear in front of goalkeeper Buljan, who once again managed to make the save.

However, the persistent Kulušić finally found the path to goal in the 33rd minute, once again winning the ball with high pressing in front of the opposition penalty area, racing towards goal and this time finding the target.

The Maksimir striker could have become a double goalscorer in the 52nd minute when Benkotić sent him a ball in behind on the right side, but he fired wide of the near post when alone in front of goal.

The Blues extended their lead in the 63rd minute when Ayoub Abdallah Makhfaoui delivered a corner kick, the goalkeeper caught and then dropped the ball, Krešimir Radoš pounced and turned it into the net from close range.

Mislav Ćutuk had a great opportunity five minutes before the end, breaking clear into the penalty area after excellent passing from Karlo Zulfić, but goalkeeper Buljan made another brilliant save to prevent a third goal.
