Dinamo visited Nad Lipom Primary School and delighted the children

A new season of the project "From a Young Age for the Blue Club"

A new school year has begun, and with it comes a new season of Dinamo's project "From a Young Age for the Blue Club".

You may remember the purpose of the project from last year, when we visited 19 primary schools in Zagreb and the surrounding area.

The first school with which we opened the second season of the Blue project is Nad Lipom Primary School. It was no coincidence: we chose it out of gratitude to the children who welcomed us so warmly last season. It is a primary school for children with intellectual and other associated developmental difficulties.

The concept has not changed. We teach children about the importance of a healthy lifestyle, exercise and healthy eating, as well as fair play and togetherness. The main role belongs to our host and entertainer Luka Bulić, who in his own distinctive way, through riddles, songs and music, raises children's awareness of all these positive values. And of course, our lion Plavko is there too, always the pupils' favourite target for photos and autographs.

A total of 150 children, teachers and teaching assistants attended the event.

Principal Alma Srna made no secret of her satisfaction with the initiative:

"We really liked the "From a Young Age for the Blue Club" project. It is excellently conceived and organised, and very dynamic. During Luka Bulić's programme, the pupils took part actively and with joy. Of course, the gifts at the end delighted them even more. We thank everyone who took part and enabled us to participate in the project."

GNK Dinamo would like to extend special thanks to Krunoslav Vlahović, a teaching associate and educational rehabilitator working as a school pedagogue, for his contribution to the project and his help with the organisation.

"We are happy and proud to have taken part in this wonderful project for the second time, which has once again brought together all the pupils and staff of the school. The interaction between Luka Bulić and the pupils was excellent, it was certainly educational and strengthened our sense of community. This was especially noticeable this year because we were participants last year as well, and it was clear that this year the pupils followed the programme with even greater joy and looked forward in advance to the gifts and souvenirs they would receive. Thank you to Dinamo and to everyone who made this possible for us.", said Vlahović.

The new edition of this socially responsible and educational project has a new partner, which is celebrating 25 years of business in the Croatian market this year. METRO Croatia supports the initiative, which encourages the youngest to adopt healthy habits and understand the importance of proper nutrition. For the pupils involved in the project, METRO has provided healthy snacks – nuts and dried fruit, a tasty and nutritious choice for school days. Through this partnership, METRO and Dinamo are together contributing to children's education and the promotion of healthier lifestyle habits from the earliest age, making sure that nobody leaves the hall empty-handed.

That is how it looked at Nad Lipom Primary School, the first of many we intend to visit this season. The plan is to visit as many as 35 schools in Zagreb and the surrounding area. We will continue to share and spread positive life values among children, and we hope that we will be welcomed everywhere with the same enthusiasm and joy.
