Dinamo's project brings joy to children once again
Eruption of emotions in Stenjevec
The project "From Little Feet to the Blue Club" continued its school tour, with the latest stop being Dragutin Tadijanović Primary School in Stenjevec, where second and fourth-grade pupils spent a morning filled with sports games, learning and socialising.
The programme brought together a total of 155 children who followed all the prepared activities with great interest from the very beginning. This was the 16th school included in the project, which visits pupils throughout the season and promotes the importance of healthy habits, physical activity and playing sports.
Through a series of carefully designed activities, the children had the opportunity to learn more about healthy nutrition, regular exercise and daily habits that contribute to a healthier lifestyle in a fun way.
Additionally, through joint games and interaction, emphasis was placed on the values that sport brings with it - cooperation, respect, friendship and fair play.
The event was once again hosted by Dinamo's presenter and entertainer Luka Bulić, for whom this visit had special significance. Namely, he himself once attended this very school, so returning to the familiar corridors and classrooms was a special moment for him.
"It's really cool for me, it brought back some old memories. The last time I sang here was in 1994, when I was finishing eighth grade. It was actually a kind of precursor to Bullhit, I made a little song about the school. And now, 32 years later, here I am in the same hall. It was really emotional," Luka recalled his primary school days.
Great excitement among the pupils was also caused by the arrival of Plavko the lion, who was once again the most sought-after attraction. Photography, hugs and joy followed him throughout the entire programme.
The school in Stenjevec also has an interesting sporting past. Among its former pupils are Gordan Giriček, who had a notable career in the NBA, Dubravko Zemljić, once Europe's most promising junior, former Croatian basketball international Roko Rogić...
This school therefore carries a beautiful sporting tradition, which the project further highlights through its work with the youngest.
The event was also attended by school principal Orest Graljuk, who welcomed the project and its message.
"First of all, thank you very much for coming. I can see that our children are very interested and pleased that they could participate in this project. Of course, now after winning the double crown, everything looked even more beautiful. We should always encourage healthy nutrition and a healthy lifestyle, especially among young people. Well done!", the principal shared his thoughts with us.
Teachers also shared their impressions, highlighting the importance of such content for school-age children.
"The project is very interesting to me. An excellent way to promote healthy food, Luka presents it in a very nice and cheerful way, so I think the children will remember the message. And all that with a club they adore. They didn't know in advance what was being prepared, they had different theories, but in the end they are delighted with what you prepared for them, just look how happy they are!", enthusiastic class teacher Kristina Barić said.
At the end of the programme, the pupils also received commemorative gifts provided by GNK Dinamo and project partner Perutnina Ptuj, as a memento of another day filled with sport and socialising together.
The project continues, with the aim of bringing healthy habits and values closer to children through education, play and sport that they will be able to apply outside of school activities as well.
