Dinamo's project ventures outside Zagreb for the first time

We visited the Croatian Zagorje region

Dinamo's project "From little feet for the blue club" visited an elementary school outside the City of Zagreb for the first time.

Our cheerful delegation travelled this Thursday to Kraljevec na Sutli, where they spent time with students from Pavao Štoos Elementary School.

You're surely already very familiar with the project's concept, considering you've been able to read about it many times in articles on our website.

Dinamo's moderator and animator Luka Bulić was once again in his element, entertaining but also educating 80 children from first to fourth grade with his energy, approachability and creativity.

He conveyed positive life values to them - from proper and healthy nutrition, exercise to the importance of sport and fair and respectful supporting, loving your own while respecting others.

So the children sang once again, with Luka's help wrote their own Dinamo supporters' song, and there were of course plenty of our club's symbols - children's banners, flags, shirts, jerseys...

We didn't forget our mascot either - Plavko the lion, without whom such events simply wouldn't be the same. Luka and Plavko are a brilliant duo that brings a smile to every schoolchild's face and pure, genuine happiness.

It wasn't just the kids who were excited about the project, the enthusiasm was also present among headmistress Marija Urek and the teachers.

"The impressions are phenomenal! It's wonderful to see how the children learned so many things about sport and nutrition in a very interesting way. I'm pleased that our former student Matej helped bring your project to our school and it would be good to have more such projects," emphasized geography and history teacher Davor Koženjak.

And that former student is now closely connected to the Blue club - he is, namely, Dinamo's membership commissioner.

"I would say that through this project you've combined the pleasant with the useful. Pleasant because we all live Dinamo here, the children love Dinamo and in this way we further bring Zagorje closer to Dinamo, and useful because children learn about a healthy lifestyle, nutrition and fair play through such a project. Really all praise for a wonderful project!" enthused Matej Pavlić, to whom we give special thanks for his role as the main organizer of this event.

We mustn't forget to mention that this time too, the children didn't leave the gathering empty-handed. They were delighted with gifts from GNK Dinamo and our project partner, Perutnina Ptuj.

Incidentally, this was the ninth elementary school we've visited as part of the project, and we plan to visit another 11 by the end of the season.
