A new series of goals and attractive moves made up Saturday's programme of the 23rd international junior memorial tournament Mladen Ramljak. On Friday, in the Round 2 matches, a total of 20 goals were scored, exactly five per match, and a day later the participants offered the same 'measure': on the final day of group stage competition, spectators once again had the opportunity to see an identical average of exactly five goals per match.

Ajax played a significant role in this statistical detail, defeating Bologna 7-2 and thus, by winning Group A, secured a place in the final where they will face the defending champions, Dinamo. Coach Milan Badelj's team overcame Benfica 4-1 in the final round, securing first place in Group B, which means that on Sunday at 18:30 on the main pitch of Maksimir Stadium we will witness a football treat – a clash between Dinamo and Ajax – two teams belonging to the category of the most successful European football schools.

In the third-place playoff, Hajduk and Benfica, who finished second in their respective groups, will compete.

In the morning programme, Ajax and Bologna were the first to take the pitch. The Dutch side won 7-2, but it was the Italians who took the lead. Nicolo Bellondi found the net in the 8th minute, and by half-time we saw five more goals. First Ajax turned the result around, with goals from Denzel Darko in the 11th, Nafairon Landvreugd in the 13th, Tyrese Teuwsen in the 21st and Aykan Soykan in the 33rd, before Leonard Ramalho reduced the deficit to 4-2 from the penalty spot in the 40th minute. The story was concluded in the second half by Sesynijo Tilborg in the 45th, Hasan Ayyildiz in the 68th and Eloi Gomez in the 73rd minute for the final 7-2.

In the second match of this group, Hajduk and Athletic Bilbao drew 1-1. The Split side took the lead in the 13th minute through Nike Sablić, with Javier Regulez equalising in the 43rd.

The match between Dinamo and Benfica opened the afternoon part of the competition, with the young Maksimir footballers overcoming opponents who had convincingly beaten Juventus 5-0 the day before. Badelj's team defeated their Portuguese opponents 4-1. The visitors took the lead in the 21st minute when Ferreirinha deflected the ball into the net in a scramble in the box. Dinamo soon initiated a comeback, turning the match in their favour between the 21st and 25th minutes to lead 2-1. First Jona Benkotić scored with a header, then Roko Ban cleverly finished at the edge of the box with his foot after a cross from the right.

The Blues added two more goals in the second half, with Benkotić scoring his second goal of the match with a header, while Niko Željković rounded off the final 4-1 from about twenty metres.

In the day's final match, Juventus and Brugge drew 2-2. The Italians led twice, with the Belgians managing to equalise on both occasions. Fabio Badarau opened the scoring in the 20th minute, with Bas Snaet equalising just before half-time in the 42nd. Juve regained the lead through Raffaele Aresini in the 59th minute, before Jeoffrey Mbambi scored the second equaliser in the 70th.
