Regular Annual Assembly of GNK Dinamo held
Assembly
The regular annual session of the GNK Dinamo Assembly was held on Tuesday in the central box of Maksimir Stadium, with emphasis on the reports from President Zvonimir Boban and the Supervisory Board, as well as the financial report for 2025.
The Assembly was chaired by Frano Šušnjara, and the members of the club's supreme body concluded that the club is financially and competitively stable despite a challenging year with numerous changes in almost all segments.
The previous Assembly was held in mid-December, and in the meantime, unfortunately, six of our former outstanding athletes and officials have left us forever: Marijan Čerček, Damir Valec, Vasil Ringov, Mladen Bartolović, Georg Koch and Professor Pero Dujmović. The session was opened with a minute of silence and a commemorative photograph on the screen in memory of the six distinguished Dinamo figures.
President Boban in his detailed report reminded about sporting results in the previous and current season, both on the domestic scene and in UEFA competitions, as well as the work of the football academy. Dinamo's academy in the 2024/25 season across 12 age categories won six championships and six runner-up positions. In the current season, 225 players are registered in the academy along with an additional 240 participants in the Open School. Currently, six categories are at the top of the championship table, while the remaining six are in second place. Three categories are competing in cup competitions and each of them is currently in the semi-final stage.
In the current season, all departments of the football academy – methodology, scouting, analytics, fitness and administration – are organized in accordance with the highest standards of European football. Dinamo has launched the process of building a new school identity with the goal of establishing a unique, clearly defined and long-term sustainable player development model, with concrete and positive advances already visible in the work and development of footballers across all age groups.
Furthermore, the digitalization process was launched in 2025 and a significant step forward was made in the last quarter of the year when foundations were laid for transitioning all ticket sales to online sales to enable smooth operations in the future, especially during the move to the stadium in Kranjčevićeva.
Dinamo ended 2025 with 65,243 members, representing a growth of 27.5 percent compared to 2024.
Club Management Board member Zvonimir Manenica highlighted in the financial report that Dinamo achieved total consolidated revenues in gross amount of EUR 81.6 million in 2025 and total consolidated surplus of revenues (profit) before tax in the amount of EUR 4.3 million. Despite significant changes and challenges in all sectors, the club operated financially successfully and stably during 2025. The club is actively working on business stability, development of commercial revenues and cost optimization.
The Supervisory Board in its report expressed the view that all club activities are in accordance with identity values and openness towards its members.
The GNK Dinamo Code of Ethics was also voted on along with the establishment of an Ethics Committee. We will soon publish the Code in its entirety on the club's website.
The Supervisory Board members also emphasize that the club is undergoing a deep transition – identity, structural, business, and normative. The processes that have been launched at all levels are demanding, require a lot of effort, coordination, risk management, but this is a path that requires patience. Nothing quality was built overnight, and neither will Dinamo, it was highlighted in the report.
The Supervisory Board members remind that two strategic infrastructure projects of the club began last year: reconstruction and construction of the stadium in Kranjčevićeva and removal of the existing and construction of a new stadium in Maksimir. The facility in Kranjčevićeva is in the construction phase which is proceeding according to defined deadlines, and completion of works, as well as necessary inspections and obtaining a use permit, are planned for early February 2027. The new Maksimir Stadium project is currently in the preparation and planning phase, an urban-architectural competition is underway with a deadline for submission of works until June 24, while the presentation of the winning solution is planned for September. The start of construction of the new stadium is scheduled for 2029.
