The Blue Story arrives in eastern Zagreb
Dinamo's project delights youngsters in Sesvete
After the blue energy swept through the western part of the city in recent days, the project "From Little Feet for the Blue Club" has also moved to eastern Zagreb, where we visited students from Luka Primary School in Sesvete.
The educational and entertaining programme was held on Wednesday, with a total of one hundred first and second grade students participating.
Due to construction work at the school hall, the event was organised at the premises of Sesvete Grammar School, to whom we extend our gratitude for providing the hall and supporting the programme's implementation.
As with previous gatherings, the emphasis was on important topics – healthy lifestyle habits, proper nutrition and the importance of physical activity, as well as community, sporting spirit and love for the blue colour. The children participated with great interest in all activities, with singing, laughter and cheering echoing throughout the hall.
The excellent atmosphere was provided by our moderator and entertainer Luka Bulić, who through interaction, music and fun tasks once again showed how to properly connect with the youngest. Special joy, as always, was caused by the arrival of the mascot, Plavko the lion, who was surrounded by children throughout the entire programme.
At the end of the gathering, the youngsters were delighted by appropriate gifts provided by GNK Dinamo and project partner Perutnina Ptuj, as a memento of another day filled with positive energy.
We extend special thanks to headmistress Nikolina Ćurković for her cooperation, as well as to teacher Valentina Meglaj for her great help in organising this event.
"It was brilliant for me. I'm fascinated and delighted, I didn't think it would be so good. An excellent project for promoting healthy nutrition and a healthy lifestyle, which children really need today, and they learn very little about it in school. This is a great project that can raise awareness of how important this actually is today. There's a lot of unhealthy food being promoted, and very little healthy food. I'm thrilled and would recommend it to everyone!", teacher Meglaj supported us.
"I think the project was great, the children were in anticipation all day. It's excellent that it follows what we learn in school, I think the children repeated and learned a lot, thank you very much for everything.", her colleague, teacher Dolores Grgurić, added.
The project continues further, with the aim that the blue story reaches as many children as possible – because fan loyalty, like true values, is learned from little feet.
