Plavko brings joy to Remete: Dinamo's project reaches 18th school
More than one hundred pupils from Remete Elementary School participated in Dinamo's new gathering
The project "From Little Feet for the Blue Club" continued its gatherings with elementary school children, with the new stop being Remete Elementary School, where another edition of the programme designed for the youngest was held. Second and third-grade pupils participated in the programme, and a total of 140 children gathered through several hours filled with activities.
From the very beginning, the gymnasium was full of energy, laughter and cheering. Through a series of fun tasks, games and sports challenges, the pupils actively participated in a programme that once again combined education, movement and socialising.
Special emphasis was placed on developing healthy lifestyle habits, so the children learned about the importance of proper nutrition, daily physical activity and health care through interactive content adapted to them. Everything was presented in a simple and interesting way, which is why the pupils had no trouble following every part of the programme and getting involved in the activities.
Along with the educational part, the project once again reminded us how important sport can be in children's development. Through joint games and team tasks, values such as mutual respect, helping others, fair play and community were emphasised, which children acquire most easily through such experiences.
The programme was hosted by Dinamo's moderator and animator Luka Bulić, who once again effortlessly created an excellent atmosphere among the pupils. His communication with the children, full of jokes and good energy, further lifted the mood throughout the entire gathering.
Great attention was once again drawn to the indispensable lion Plavko, whom the pupils immediately surrounded as soon as he appeared. Photography, hugs and cheering marked the part of the programme that remained the favourite moment of the day for many.
The event was also attended by school principal Filomena Horvatić, who supported the project and socialised with the pupils during the activities.
"It was a wonderful, educational and very active gathering that will surely remain a beautiful memory for our pupils. The children learned what a professional athlete's day looks like, how healthy habits directly affect success and why it's essential to adopt the habit of movement from an early age. Promoting sport, healthy nutrition and raising awareness about the importance of activity for children - all in all, it was truly a commendable event.", said pedagogue Marina Vuco.
The children were not left empty-handed this time either - GNK Dinamo and project partner Perutnina Ptuj made sure they didn't leave the class empty-handed and that they had something nice and useful to remember this gathering by.
Remete Elementary School has thus become the 18th school included in the "From Little Feet for the Blue Club" project, which continues with the same goal - through sport, play and education, to bring healthy habits closer to children and show how many positive values sport carries with it.
