Dear Dinamo supporters, dear members, respected BBB group!

For decades, we have all hoped together that we would build a new blue home, our new Maksimir. After a long process in which the state and city authorities managed to resolve property-legal complications, allocate significant funds, and form an international expert jury, the City of Zagreb and the Zagreb Association of Architects launched the administrative process of an international public competition for the new, city stadium Maksimir.

By unanimous decision, among 88 submitted works from around the world, the work of Milan-based studio VG13 Architects was chosen as the winner. The profession assessed it as the best in every sense - urban planning, architectural, and historical-identity.

With responsibility and faith that I am working in the best interest of our club's future, I voted, like all other jury members, for that conceptual solution.

I deeply remain with that conviction, but that is just one Dinamo opinion and it doesn't matter from which position it comes. What is an unquestionable truth is that the vast majority of you, Dinamo's supporters, believe that this is not a good decision nor the right solution for our club. You think this with the same hopes and faith in Dinamo's best future, nothing less or more than me.

As I am just one drop in the blue sea, I have no right, nor does anyone else within the Club, not to fight for your ideas to be heard and respected and for everything to be attempted so that they can be concretely realized. I believe that the investors, the City of Zagreb and the Government of the Republic of Croatia, together with the evaluation jury, will find the best possible path towards realizing those ideas.

I am convinced that we will all be satisfied with the final result.
