Brilliant performance and masterful goals for another Dinamo b victory
Segesta – Dinamo b 1-3
Masterful goals combined with open, attacking football and impressive performances from both teams... It was an interesting and entertaining Sunday football afternoon in Sisak where Dinamo b defeated Segesta 3-1 in the 8th round of the SuperSport First League. This is the Blues' second consecutive victory, and they garnished it with three spectacular goals for football connoisseurs: the first goal after effective dribbling and a heel pass, the second after an unstoppable run and a shot from the edge of the penalty area just under the crossbar, and the third after a brilliant strike from 30 metres into the top corner...
This was the "aesthetic profile" of Dinamo's goals in Sisak, and this standard was matched by the home team's scorer who also found the net with an effective strike from 18 metres into the bottom corner. All these sequences could be followed by viewers watching the live TV broadcast on our Dinamo Plus platform.
For the young Maksimir team, 18-year-old Belarusian Egor Molchan made his debut, starting in the lineup as right winger, as did Uruguayan midfielder Lautaro Ultra who came on as a substitute in the 58th minute. Fuzy Taylor scored his first goal, and what a goal it was - earning the biggest applause: from 30 metres into the top corner in stoppage time! Moreover, Taylor has presented himself as a player with a powerful and precise shot since his arrival...
Segesta threatened in the 4th minute, Petar Brlek played a through ball into the penalty area, Tonči Kukoč-Petraello received the ball and attempted a lob from seven metres, but goalkeeper Tai Žnuderl managed to save and parry the ball out of play.
Dinamo took the lead in the 9th minute, the impressive Molchan embarked on one of his numerous effective runs and dribbles down the right wing, went past the defenders, used two feints to get near the penalty area, played a short pass back where Sven Šunta effectively extended with his heel for Leonardo Perković to run onto and fire into the net from six metres.
Molchan created another masterpiece around the 20th minute with a "set of dribbles" on the right side, and the ball whistled through the penalty area in the continuation of the move. Shortly after, Šunta struck powerfully, but the ball hit the goalkeeper...
Noah Nsoki sent a precise ball into the penalty area in the 22nd minute, Jona Benkotić freed himself from the defender with a feint, but at the last moment centre-back Karlo Bilić slid in and prevented another goal. Shortly after, Nsoki again went down the left wing, got to seven metres out, goalkeeper Ilija Đilas saved the ball, Šunta followed up, but once again Segesta's goalkeeper managed to prevent a goal.
These were minutes of Nsoki's inspiration, he quickly created more "chaos" on the left side, played a short pass to Ivan Paunović, who with effective dribbling on his left foot went past the defender, immediately shot with his right, but the ball still ended up with the goalkeeper.
Dinamo increased their lead in the 53rd minute, Taylor played a short pass to Šunta in the middle, he drove the attack forward, went past two defenders and just at the edge of the penalty area precisely and effectively fired under the crossbar.
The home team equalised in the very next attack, Noa Godec led the move down the right side, and when he got within 18 metres he struck powerfully and hit the near bottom corner.
In the 56th minute, there was action at both ends of the pitch. Kukoč-Petraello from the left side sent the ball wide of the far post from eight metres in a promising situation. Dinamo's attack followed, Nsoki played to the right, the ball was received by Benkotić, who crossed in front of goal, but at the crucial moment Perković didn't connect properly.
The experienced Kukoč-Petraello tried to lead Sisak's hunt for an equaliser, taking free kicks and initiating most attacks... In the 73rd minute he crossed from a corner, and Eric Chardey headed the ball wide from five metres. The Segesta defender was injured in the process and soon had to leave the pitch.
Kukoč-Petraello tried a lob again in the 84th minute, this time from 18 metres, and again Žnuderl managed to deflect the ball away from goal with his fingertips while flying backwards. A minute later Bilić also threatened with a header after a corner, and Paunović, also with his head, cleared off the goal line... In the 85th minute Ayoub Abdalllah Makhfaoui led Dinamo's counter-attack down the right side, played a return pass, Josip Brundić received brilliantly and shot, but it deflected off a block for a corner. Already in the next minute Gabriel Šivalec crossed, and Borna Orlić attempted a scissors kick, the ball flew just wide of the goal...
And then, in the second minute of stoppage time, Taylor produced a moment for football gourmets. Šivalec played him a short pass, he took a few steps back and struck powerfully from 30 metres into the top corner.
