Smail Prevljak signs for Dinamo

New signing

Experienced striker Smail Prevljak, former Istra 1961 player, is Dinamo's new centre-forward. Prevljak will further strengthen the attacking potential of Mario Kovačević's squad with his experience and refined sense for goal. At Dinamo, he will wear the number 14 shirt.

Born on 10 May 1995 in Konjic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, he took his first football steps at local club Igman, and from summer 2013 was in RB Leipzig's academy where he also made his debut for the first team. A year later he moved to Salzburg where he played for the first team, and initially also for the second team, Liefering. He spent six years in the Salzburg system, winning four league titles and three cup trophies.

In the meantime, he briefly played on loan for Austrian side Mattersburg, then moved to Belgian club Eupen where he played for three and a half seasons. At Eupen, he scored 42 goals with 11 assists in 99 appearances. Last summer, after a two-year spell at Berlin's Hertha, he joined Istra 1961 where he scored 15 goals in 34 official matches.

Prevljak has also made 27 appearances for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, scoring six goals.

Welcome to Dinamo, Smail, we wish you lots of luck and success in the blue shirt.
