The most important thing was the victory, and it was never in question at any moment, stated Dinamo coach Mario Kovačević after his team outplayed Rudeš 4-0 in the league match.

– We made many changes to the lineup compared to the previous match. It was important to score early, and we succeeded in that. After that, I wasn't entirely satisfied – in the defensive phase we were standing too far from the players and allowed the opponent some things we shouldn't have. However, we soon scored the second goal so we could rest Josip Mišić, Miha Zajc, Dion Drena Beljo and Lukas Kačavenda a bit... Overall I can be satisfied, but in those last thirty minutes with a man advantage we should have created more quality attacks, we needed to be a bit more dangerous to score a few more goals. But we won't nitpick because now with this victory we await the most important match on Tuesday.

Kačavenda played brilliantly once again.

– That's the way you need to fight for a place in the team. During preparations we said our wish was for him to be part of us, he's showing that on the pitch, now he's playing a lot, his efficiency pleases me, I believe he'll continue like this.

Beljo opened the match with a masterful bicycle kick.

– Yes, it was a very beautiful goal. Beljo is a proper centre-forward and that doesn't surprise me. He scores many beautiful goals in training too. I hope he'll continue like that on Tuesday. It doesn't have to be such a beautiful goal, but just let him score, ha ha ha...

Gabriel Vidović wasn't in the squad.

– A transfer is being worked on, that's why we didn't bring him into the game. I believe it will be finished in a day or two, but until it's done we won't comment – coach Kovačević added briefly.
