We've gotten used to it somehow, here we are celebrating for the last two weeks still after the Cup final, emphasized Dinamo's coach Mario Kovačević after the draw against Lokomotiva at Maksimir, 0:0, in the last championship round in a celebratory atmosphere during the double crown celebration.

– It was very beautiful, the stadium was full, the match had an exhibition tone, but it's important that we didn't lose in such an atmosphere. Well, the entire spring part was brilliant. The season was quite challenging, but we showed that we are the best, we played good football. I must thank the players and everyone at the club. And now let's go celebrate.

What were the key points of this brilliant season?

– There were quite a few, I won't list them individually now. For instance, during winter preparations it was clear that we had organized ourselves well. I'm pleased that we played attacking football, scored many goals, outplayed opponents... Nobody can complain about the trophies won, we brought both the championship and the Cup back to our city.

The celebration is ongoing now, but at Dinamo there's no rest.

– I knew from day one what Dinamo is. It's not easy, but we worked, we tried hard and that rewards you. Preparations are coming soon, European qualifiers as well. We'll rest a little and then we go on.

Did you believe in such an outcome throughout the entire season?

– I did, even when we lost against Istra. Even then I believed it would turn out like this. I thank the staff and the players. Above all, I thank the main man, president Zvonimir Boban. He believed in all of us. Someone might have doubted, but he didn't and it turned out he was right. I thank him from the heart – concluded coach Kovačević
