A goal in the final seconds for a big win, strong optimism and extra confidence ahead of new challenges... The 1-0 victory over Anderlecht, secured at the very end of stoppage time in the first home match at Maksimir in this season's Europa League league phase, is a strong psychological boost for Dinamo's players. In that atmosphere, the squad of coach Mario Kovačević will await its next league fixture. On Sunday at 6 pm in Koprivnica, Slaven Belupo and Dinamo will face each other in Matchday 10 of the SuperSport HNL.

– There are only two days between these two matches, after the win against Anderlecht and ahead of the trip to Koprivnica. We needed a win like this to further boost our confidence. The points in the Europa League matter to us, but the significance of this win is even greater because of the confidence it brings. I believe we can build on it and continue with even better performances. We know it won't be easy against Slaven Belupo, but the situation in the squad is generally good. The injured Robert Mudražija is out, everyone else is ready – said coach Kovačević.

The way Dinamo's players celebrated the winning goal from the penalty spot, scored at the end of the 6th minute of stoppage time, was a particularly vivid illustration of the spirit of togetherness within the squad.

– I keep emphasizing our team spirit, and we saw in the celebration after the goal just how important that win is to us. I truly believe it will give us an extra boost for our upcoming matches. We are entering a series of fixtures, and generally all players will get their chance, so it is important that we have a wide squad. Away games like this one in Koprivnica are never easy, but we will give everything we have, and I hope for a good match and a win for us.

Slaven Belupo beat Rijeka 4-1 in the previous round.

– Their situation is similar to ours, as that win over Rijeka gave them great confidence. The stands will be full: we have a lot of supporters there, and of course Slaven Belupo have plenty of their own too. They are an interesting team led by experienced players, and Ilija Nestorovski is in the form of his life. We will have to be careful not to let them get into their rhythm, because they are dangerous. But in every match we want to keep getting better, and I hope we will show that – concluded coach Kovačević.
