The new edition of Dinamo's Magazine has been published, featuring incredibly rich content. Naturally, most of the dRevija is dedicated to the double crown and brilliant results from last season's senior team, the celebrations, individual and team awards that the Dinamo players won...

On this occasion, GNK Dinamo honorary president Velimir Zajec published an emotional reflection in which he compared last season to the legendary 1981-82 season, among other things.

Here is his complete reflection addressed to you, our loyal supporters:

Dear Dinamo fans,

As I look back on the season behind us, I cannot avoid comparing it to the 1981/82 season, one of the most important in our club's history. Back then, after a long wait, we showed the strength of unity, the quality of our team, the character of winners and the belief that Dinamo can achieve what many consider impossible.

In a special way, this season also reminds me of those days.

During the past year, Dinamo has gone through changes rarely seen. A new Statute was adopted, the first democratic elections were held based on the principle of one member - one vote, and a new Assembly, club president, Supervisory Board and management were elected. Dinamo got a new sporting director, new coach, new Youth Academy director and a new team, strengthened with as many as eighteen new players.

At the same time, the club continued to grow on all levels. We welcomed over 60,000 members a full hundred days earlier than the previous record season, played European spring football and secured a place among the 32 best teams in the Europa League. We reached the Croatian Cup final, which we won, the league's top scorer once again wears a Dinamo shirt, and most importantly - the Croatian championship title is back at Maksimir Stadium.

While building a new future through the stadium in Kranjčevićeva and later our new Maksimir Stadium, we are also building a strong foundation for the years to come.

That's why this season reminds me of 1982. Not because the circumstances are the same, but because the feeling is the same. The feeling that Dinamo has once again shown how strong it is when united. When it believes in itself. When it's led by people who love it, and behind it stand its members and supporters.

History teaches us that the greatest victories never come overnight. They are the result of work, courage, patience and unity. That's exactly why we can be proud of this season. Not just because of the trophies, but because of everything we built together.

No one can ever take that away from us!
