In the final group stage match, the Blues defeated their namesake, Dinamo from Tirana, 2-1 and advanced to the Balkan Cup final. The goalscorers were Zlatko Cico Kranjčar and Mario Bonić, while Ilir Përnaska scored for the visitors. Dinamo went on to defeat Romanian side Sportul from Bucharest in the two-legged final played in June 1977.
