Dinamo concluded their triumphant HNL season with a 1-1 draw against Split at Maksimir, securing their sixth consecutive league title and completing the double crown four days later. The Blues had already secured the title earlier, and in the match against Split they formally finished the league season and celebrated the trophy. Both goals were scored by future internationals: Dinamo captain Milan Badelj put the Blues ahead in the 40th minute, while Ante Rebić equalised seven minutes before the end. On the Blues' bench at the time sat Marijo Tot in the role of head coach, who had recently succeeded Vahid Halilhodžić.
