Viktoria Žižkov, at that time one of the best teams not only in Czechoslovakia but in Central Europe, visited Zagreb for two consecutive matches against the then up-and-coming Građanski. Both matches were played at the pitch in Koturaška. On the first day, the visitors were superior with a convincing 3-0 victory, while a day later, on May 24th, it ended 1-1 in a match where Građanski dominated and came closer to victory. The scorer for the visitors was Antonin Křištal, while the goal for the Zagreb side was scored by Franjo Joža Giller.
