Građanski – Hajduk 1-1 (title celebration)

Građanski celebrate the championship title. The Zagreb side concluded their triumphant season with a match against Hajduk, having already secured the trophy earlier with a victory against one of their direct rivals, BSK in Belgrade, by a convincing 4-0 scoreline.

After that result, they pulled away to an unassailable lead with two rounds remaining. Hajduk came to Zagreb for the celebration on May 30th in the final round fixture, where the Split side earned a point in a 1-1 draw and secured second place. Građanski were champions with a seven-point margin over their rivals, which included Hajduk and the Belgrade duo of BSK and Jugoslavija. August Lešnik found the net for the whites after receiving a pass from Milan Antolković. Leo Lemešić equalised from the penalty spot after the ball struck the hand of Građanski defender Bernard Bendu Hügl in the penalty area.
