Crvena zvezda – Dinamo 0-2
In the former Yugoslav league, this was the second of three seasons in which the championship ran through the calendar year rather than the traditional autumn-spring format. In the championship derby, Dinamo defeated Crvena zvezda in Belgrade, in a match played at Partizan's stadium, securing the spring half-season championship title.
In 10 matches, the Blues recorded eight victories and two draws. They topped the table with 18 points, followed by Hajduk with 15, Partizan with 14, while Crvena zvezda was fourth with 12 points and a game in hand. Božo Senčar found Zvezda's net in the 47th minute. He was preparing to cross from the right side when home defender Milorad Diskić simultaneously challenged for the ball, causing it to arc high over goalkeeper Ljubomir Lovrić and into the net. The second goal was scored by Dionizije Bato Dvornić five minutes before the end, pouncing on a rebound. The championship title ultimately went to Crvena zvezda in a dramatic finish, as they had the same number of points as Dinamo but a slightly better goal difference.
