Vojvodina – Dinamo 0-1 (path to the title)
On Sunday they played 1-1 away against Vardar, and the following day they headed directly to another away fixture, in Novi Sad. Dinamo's players continued their hunt for the championship title, arriving for the match against Vojvodina two days early. They travelled by train on Monday from Skopje, a journey of over 600 km. The match was scheduled for Wednesday at 4 PM. Practically straight off the train, they headed for a light training session. Additional motivation for the Blues was their desire for revenge for the autumn "disappointment" when Vojvodina beat them 2-0 in Zagreb at Kranjčevićeva. Dinamo came close to taking the lead towards the end of the first half in the Novi Sad match, when Luka Lipošinović had a great opportunity after the goalkeeper saved the ball, but he missed the target from an excellent position in his follow-up attempt. In the 55th minute, Dionizije Bato Dvornić broke through alone against goalkeeper Pavle Ristić, sent the ball towards goal, but at the last moment Ilija Malenčić cleared it off the goal line. However, five minutes later the Blues took the lead, with Dvornić as the goalscorer. Stojan Osojnak played him through in the penalty area, and he placed the ball into the goal as it slipped through the goalkeeper's legs. After Wednesday's match, Dinamo was "alone" at the top of the table, but the next day Red Star joined them on points after playing their 23rd round match on Thursday, beating Vardar 3-0 in Skopje. Dinamo and second-placed Red Star both had 36 points, with Partizan in third place on 35.
